It was a fierce competition amongst all of the well-qualified teams and the team from Seward Middle School is proud to bring the victory home to KPBSD. As a parent of one of the participants, I’d like to say a special thanks to the staff who make these opportunities available to our students. Thank you to Coach Shelly Walker, District Chair Karla Barkman, and former coaches Julie Doepken and Clay Ellsworth. You have all had a part in inspiring and leading these impressive, young ladies to this moment. All of our KPBSD children benefit from what you pour into them. Thank you!

Comment on Farewell to Hot-Rod Todd Brewer by Neal DuPerron https://communications.blogs.kpbsd.k12.ak.us/2020/12/09/farewell-to-hot-rod-todd-brewer/#comment-1813 Thu, 10 Dec 2020 08:57:32 +0000 https://communications.blogs.kpbsd.k12.ak.us/?p=7112#comment-1813 I was saddened to hear of Todd’s passing. He was gentle giant. He loved to tell stories, sometimes to new “victims”. He was the kindest, most soft spoken man. I had breakfast with a fews before his passing in Homer. We were there for work. We talked about life in general, he told a few of his stories and we made plans to meet up soon and started making plans for fishing in the summer. Glad I got that time with him. You will be missed Mr. Todd

These four schools in less than a week: “Positive cases are reported daily in KPBSD schools and in the past few days in the central peninsula alone, between Nikiski Middle-High School, Nikiski North Star Elementary, Redoubt Elementary, and Skyview Middle School, contact tracing has placed over 63 staff and students in isolation or a 14-Day Quarantine.”

Although distance seperates us I am your aunt Pam from Parthenon ar. When you and your mother visited Sulphur we were able to spend time together when you spent the night at my apartment. I enjoyed your company and it is so pleasing to see you thriving and successful. I know Mary Jane is beside herself proud of you. I wish you the best.
